Letting go is a practice that touches every part of our lives, from relationships and expectations to habits and past regrets. Have you ever reflected on how release creates room… room for peace, joy, and renewed purpose. When we pause, reflect, and intentionally choose what to hold onto and what to release, we free ourselves from the weight of resentment, fear, and self-limiting beliefs. I will share how learning the art of letting go empowers us to live more fully, to cultivate deeper relationships, and to align our daily choices with our highest values.

The Resurrection is often remembered as a miraculous moment in history. Yet its meaning reaches far beyond a single event. It represents the promise that renewal, restoration, and hope are always possible, even in the darkest seasons of life. When we reflect on the deeper message of the Resurrection, we are reminded that transformation begins within our heart and mind. Choosing forgiveness over resentment, faith over fear, and love over division allows us to live the message of renewal each day. I will share how by embracing the power of the Resurrection in our own lives, we discover that healing, purpose, and new beginnings are never out of reach.

Healing is never just physical. It’s emotional, mental, and spiritual as well. Lisa Tarantino, CFNC, has learned this from firsthand experience. Now, she helps her clients explore how suppressed emotions can create stress responses in the body that interfere with healing, energy, and resilience. Lisa will share how unresolved emotional patterns may show up as inflammation, fatigue, hormonal imbalance, or chronic symptoms. She will share why acknowledging emotions is not a weakness, but a pathway to restoration. This conversation will be a gentle reminder that true healing often begins when we feel safe enough to listen to what our bodies have been trying to say all along.

We all encounter difficult people at some point in our lives. How we respond to them often reveals more about our own emotional health than theirs. It’s easy to feel triggered, defensive, or even powerless when someone behaves in ways that feel disrespectful, confrontational, or dismissive. Yet these moments can become powerful opportunities to grow in patience, boundaries, and self-awareness. When we learn to pause, respond thoughtfully, and remain grounded in our values, we begin to shift the dynamic from frustration to empowerment. I will share how understanding how to navigate these relationships with clarity, compassion, and healthy limits can transform difficult encounters into lessons that strengthen our character and deepen our inner peace.

The voices in our head are always speaking, often influencing how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. Some are rooted in past experiences, fear, or conditioning. While others offer wisdom, intuition, and truth. When we don’t pause to question these inner messages, they can quietly run our lives, fueling self-doubt, stress, and disconnection. By learning to recognize where these voices come from and how they shape our thoughts and reactions, we gain the power to respond with awareness instead of habit. I will share how choosing to rewrite the story can lead us to compassion, curiosity, and truth which allows us to create inner peace, strengthen confidence, and live with greater clarity and intention.

Respectful disagreement is becoming a lost art. Yet it may be one of the most powerful tools for healing our families, friendships, and communities. Recently, I was attacked on my personal Facebook page for my beliefs. I was insulted, accused, and shamed simply for having a different perspective. That experience became a profound eye-opener, highlighting how essential respect is when differences in opinion, affiliation, or belief arise. It was clear that some people default to name-calling and accusations rather than asking thoughtful questions or creating space for an open exchange of ideas. This leads us to some important questions. How can we speak truth without hostility? How can we listen without defensiveness? And how can we remain grounded in love even when opinions differ? I will share how learning to pause, reflect, and choosing connection over conflict can become a pathway to understanding, healing, and genuine connection.

Love is not just an emotion; it is a condition of the heart and a daily choice. Over the years, I’ve learned that many of us are generous in loving others, yet hesitant to receive love ourselves. This is often because of past hurt, rejection, or fears that have not been acknowledged or addressed. Is it easy for you to love? Is it harder for you to accept love? Why are we afraid of a functional or healthy relationship? I reflect on what it means to soften, to remain open, and to trust love again. This is not something we earn, but something we are created for. I will share how when we answer the call to love and be loved, we begin to heal at a deeper level, allowing connection, compassion, and grace to transform how we see ourselves and how we show up for others.

Being kind to your enemy is one of the most countercultural and healing choices we can make. I’ve come to understand that kindness does not mean approval, passivity, or self-betrayal. It means refusing to allow resentment, anger, or bitterness to take root within us. When we choose kindness, paired with healthy boundaries, we reclaim our peace and protect our emotional and physical well-being. I will share how this kind of living invites freedom, clarity, and strength, reminding us that how we respond to others ultimately shapes our own health, mindset, and capacity to live fully.

Finding purpose and direction is less about searching outside ourselves and more about remembering who we are and what truly matters. I’ve learned that purpose often reveals itself quietly through moments of curiosity, service, struggle, and reflection, rather than through grand declarations. When we slow down and create space to listen, we begin to recognize the patterns, passions, and values that guide our path forward. Living with purpose doesn’t mean having every step mapped out; it means choosing alignment over confusion and intention over obligation. I will share how allowing direction to unfold with clarity, trust, and grace, will guide us to the destiny God ordained for us.

There are moments in life when everything in us wants to pull back, disengage, or escape what feels uncomfortable or overwhelming. I’ve learned that leaning in, gently and intentionally, can transform those moments into opportunities for healing and growth. When we stay present with what’s difficult, we begin to understand our triggers, soften our reactions, and reclaim our power. This practice isn’t about pushing through pain; it’s about listening, creating space, and responding with wisdom rather than fear. I will share how leaning in has allowed me to build emotional resilience, deepen self-trust, and move forward with greater peace and clarity. Would you like to do the same? Let’s learn how, together!

As a Certified Life Coach and Certified Holistic Cancer Coach, I’ve observed that while many people are willing to invest time, money, and effort into improving their physical bodies, they often avoid tending to their mind and spirit. They offer excuses like lack of time, money, or the belief that they “don’t need it, but my (add name here,) does!” That’s why I am introducing something new in The Classroom: Free Life Coaching Sessions. A loving, judgment-free space where you can ask questions about anything causing pain, confusion, or uncertainty and gain clarity, perspective, and direction. Coaching isn’t about being told what to do; it’s about asking the right questions, reconnecting with your inner wisdom, and moving forward with intention. Each week, I will select requests to explore during The Classroom for the benefit of all who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something more. If you’re seeking encouragement, empowerment, or clarity, email your questions to me at Lilly@WhenYouNeedaFriend.com

Extraordinary living doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by choice. Last weekend, in my blog, I created the acronym JAPHILAFF as a simple reminder to prioritize Joy, Acceptance, Peace, Health, Inclusion, Love, Abundance, Forgiveness, and Focus in our daily lives. These principles serve as guideposts for making intentional decisions that nourish our body, mind, and spirit. As I reflect on how I practice JAPHILAFF, I see how laughter, curiosity, and a lighthearted perspective help me stay grounded, consistent, and aligned with my values. This approach empowers us to live fully, embrace challenges with grace, and create a life that feels both meaningful and playful. I will share how we can all live a life rooted in JAPHILAFF!

Violence isn’t only what we see on the news. It’s the inner turmoil, resentment, and fear that cloud our hearts. Renowned Course in Miracles teacher, author, and master educator, Carol Howe, reminds us that peace starts with one choice at a time. Through conscious awareness, forgiveness, and love, we can dissolve the emotional barriers that create division and suffering. Carol shares how to recognize subtle forms of inner violence and transform them into compassion, clarity, and calm. The end of violence truly begins when we remember who we are… we are love itself.

Each new year offers an invitation to begin again. Yet traditional resolutions often leave us discouraged rather than empowered. Over time, I’ve learned that lasting change doesn’t come from rigid promises, but from intentionally choosing what truly aligns with our values, our health, and our purpose. As I reflect on what I want for 2026, I lean on cultivating a mindset that supports clarity, consistency, and sustainable well-being, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Choosing intentions over resolutions gives us permission to grow with grace, remain curious, and stay committed even when life becomes challenging. I will share wisdom drawn from Jesus’ parable in Matthew 9:17, of pouring new wine into old wineskins… a powerful reminder that meaningful transformation requires creating space for the new, and why we should let go of old patterns. How has pouring new wine into old wineskins kept you from achieving your goals? What would staying committed with grace, rather than perfection, look like for you in 2026?

As we move into the holiday season, many of us feel pressure to do more, give more, and be more. What if this year we focus instead on being present with childlike curiosity? Over the years, I’ve loved watching our grandchildren during the holidays. I often wonder how they are experiencing these moments and what priorities might look like through their eyes. Childlike curiosity softens stress, invites joy, and deepens our connections with loved ones. It can help us savor moments we might otherwise rush through. Imagine how your priorities might shift if you approached this season with the wonder of a child. I will share simple suggestions to reconnect with curiosity, practice gratitude, and embrace the kind of joy that can transform the season from overwhelming to uplifting.

Fear is a natural part of growth. But it doesn’t have to be the voice that guides our choices. Each time we say “yes” to something new such as a change in mindset, a healing journey, or a deeper purpose, we step closer to our authentic selves. I’ve learned that when we shift our focus from fear to faith, possibilities expand and transformation begins. This message is close to my heart, especially as we prepare for the I AM the SOLUTION Natural Health Summit for Cancer & Autoimmune Dys-Ease on November 1, 2025. If I were to let fear guide me, we would not be climbing The Summit together, or meeting amazing teachers that will empower us to live our best life or meeting likeminded people in our community.  I will share how to make your “YES!” greater than your fear and create the healthy life you were meant to live... It's time!

Creating the health you want starts with understanding that every choice has an impact, from what we eat and how we move, to the way we think and manage stress. When we think of health, we often hear “you’ve got to die from something anyway!” Yes, we will all die someday. But how do we want to live while on this earth? Our mindset, self-awareness, and intentional daily habits can help us take charge of our well-being, boost energy, and enhance resilience. This requires a willingness to dive deeper into our belief system. What we believe is what we create. I will share strategies for navigating obstacles, making sustainable changes, and embracing a proactive approach to health. These will help build a foundation for long-term vitality and balance.
