Melissa Yamaguchi is a dynamic Energy Therapist and a Feng Shui speaker and educator. She travels the world teaching lessons on balance of the individual through the practice of Feng Shui. She has been a student of it for over twenty years. When I heard her speak for the first time, I knew she would be a great teacher in the classroom. Melissa will help us understand how Feng Shui is about owning our own energy so we can learn how to control our reactions.
What do you do when your scheduled teacher in the classroom is a “no call, no show”? Quickly Shift! I shifted all the way to an article I wrote in 2016 called, “Embracing the S and F words!” Yes, of all the things I could speak of today, this would be what came out of my heart. Here is a clue… “S,” divides us and creates what is known as “distancing.” “F” unites us and sets us free. Please join me and Dr. Russell Jaffe, MD, PhD, who joined part way into the class, as we dive into how Shame and Forgiveness affects our spirit, mind and body.
My philosophy in life has been “Everything Always Works Out For The Greater Good!” (Rom 8) Life is changing but has that philosophy changed? Today’s scheduled guests had an emergency and postponed. So, instead of playing a “Best of Show,” it is time to share what is in my heart. Love and Fear are the only two choices every decision comes from. I will discuss how we can choose love during these fearful times due to the coronavirus.
Times are changing but many of us are grasping on to the status quo. It is time for a shift, perhaps a great reset! We have been asked to practice social distancing. So, let’s use this time for a mindset reset. Reset our thoughts… Reset how money comes into our homes… Reset how the internet has become a way to shop… Reset what we are using on our skin! Rebecca Black and Kelli Bono, co-founders of Keep Me Safe Organics, discuss how we can use this great reset to create our best lives. It has been a long time since I have done a segment on religion. I want to research how religion supports your heart so that I can celebrate your faith. What we have in common is more important than our differences. It is time to break down the walls of religion. This time we will embrace Catholicism. Have you ever stepped into a Catholic Church? Do you know what Catholics believe? John Martignoni is host of Open Line Monday, a call-in radio program for Bible apologetics on EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network. He will share about what Catholics believe.
There is never a good time to lose someone you love. The grief can be so debilitating that it is hard to imagine what your life will be like without them. Television producer and author of I’m One of The Lucky Ones, Joseph Alvaro, knows this pain. Joseph, along with fellow widower Matt Zoller-Seitz created a website called The Lucky Ones as a web-based video platform for people to celebrate the continuing bonds shared with those who’ve passed away. In short interviews, people from all walks of life share their stories about someone special who has touched their lives. Joseph will share how grateful he feels to have had his wife in his life and how we can celebrate those we no longer have on this earth.
Many of us have difficult and tragic pasts and only a few of our closest friends know about. Imagine what happens when you are in the public eye and EVERYONE reminds you about the history of alcoholism, mental illness and suicide, in your family. And what if your greatest fear is that you have “the curse” too. Author, activist, actress and advocate, Mariel Hemingway, is the granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, an American journalist, novelist, short-story writer, whose writings won him a Nobel Prize and a Pulitzer Prize. Mariel has been Running From Crazy but after many years of focusing on self-care and healing, she now fully embraces being a Hemingway. Mariel will share how we too can embrace every aspect of who we are.
Have you ever contemplated eternity? None of us really knows what happens when a person dies. Are our loved ones around us? Where do they go when they leave their physical body? From childhood, international bestselling author and psychic medium, John Edward, has had the honor of interpreting for those who have crossed over. John will join us to share his journey and do some readings for a few lucky listeners. He will also give away tickets to his upcoming live shows in Florida, in Jacksonville (2/9/20) and in Melbourne (2/8/20).
How are you doing on your New Year commitments (aka resolutions)? It is a new year and, after listening to all the teachers in the classroom, I wonder if you have decided to reprogram your thoughts or even to focus on what you want? Unfortunately, many of us focus on what we do not want and, as a result, create more of what we do not want. How do we change this pattern? As we create our future, let’s get our thoughts in alignment with our desires… I will share tips on how we can change our thought patterns and create the life we desire.
You have heard me say that I had to go to a respiratory therapist because of hoarseness in my vocal cords. What I was told by my therapist, after my 30-minute appointment, was that I had forgotten how to breathe. WUH? I am alive… How can that be?! Ordained minister and author of the book, Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly, Judith Kravitz, has worked extensively with the breath as an agent of transformation and healing since the late 1970s. In 1994, she founded the Transformational Breath Foundation and its training programs. She will teach us how to breathe so our breath is healing, spiritual, loving, dynamic, and lifegiving.
Many of us carry our resentments, pain, and anger like a badge of honor. Some want to heal but just don’t know how. For others, traditional “talk” therapy seems costly or a waste of time. Psychologist and hypnotherapist Marisa Peer has created a formula for success called Rapid Transformational Therapy. Marisa has spent nearly 30 years treating clients including international superstars, CEOs, royalty, and Olympic athletes. She has helped thousands of people to overcome profound personal issues producing dramatic and life-changing results. Marisa is a best-selling author of five books, a speaker, and a teacher who empowers everyone to believe “they are enough!” Marisa will share how we can individually say, “I AM ENOUGH!” I am obsessed with and grateful to Marisa for thinking outside the box.
Although this statistic might be incredulous to some, many of the teachers in the classroom have said that “95% of all illness is due to unresolved past trauma.” Typically, we focus on the body instead of our mind or spirit to heal. Have you heard of Recall Healing? Recall Healing helps us discover the root cause of disease. Michelle Schrader, PhD, and Jennifer Gramith, ND, CLT work together to help create awareness on how past trauma trapped in the body can keep us from truly healing. They will share how we can shift our health challenges by understanding the underlying cause of our health issues.
Did you know that meditation supports a healthier mindset that helps us make better choices? Jason Stephenson has been involved in the meditation/relaxation music field for the past 15 years and he is a wonderful friend of the classroom. Jason has the best YouTube meditation channel with over a million subscribers. I am excited Jason is back to share how we can be mindful during the holidays.

Is there anyone in your life that might seem distant, not as attentive, or not as close as you once were? Do you know the reason for the disconnect? Many times, we tell ourselves a story that is only real in our head and may have nothing to do with reality. I will give you tips on how to change the story in our head to include a positive resolution. Also, Matt Bellis of Liberty HealthShare will be joining us to share the stories we think about HealthShare!
I am so excited because The Classroom is LIVE from the ACIM Conference. Dr. Lee Cowden has organized a wonderful opportunity for all “outside the box” medical practitioners to learn other ways to heal the body, naturally. Then, on Friday, 11/15 and Saturday, 11/16, the public will be able to attend their own conference… It is called, Get Your Life Back Now! We will share why there is so much excitement about these two conferences and the Doctors Who Rock Gala.
It has been a while since Orly Wahba has been in the classroom. I am truly excited to reconnect with her. Orly was the director of the Kindness Boomerang viral video, the creator of Dance for Kindness, and the founder of Life Vest Inside. As we enter into the holidays it is especially important to be aware of our stress levels and create a plan to replace stress with kindness. Orly will share tips on how to choose kindness all year long.
If you could sprinkle pixie dust over your significant other, what would you wish for? Compassion? Understanding? Communication? Helpfulness? A sense of humor or adventure? The reality is, the relationships we have with ourselves reflect the relationships we build with others. So how do we learn to build the relationship we truly want? Well, who better to speak to us about relationships than relationship expert and author of Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus (and sixteen other books on relationships), John Gray, PhD. John will share his wisdom about the inherent differences between men and women as well as what it takes to build lasting, loving relationships.
What do you do when you see a homeless person in the street with a sign asking for money? Do you avoid eye contact and pretend you didn’t see them? Artist, Willie Baronet was so uncomfortable with seeing people with signs asking for help, he began buying and collecting homeless signs to deal with his discomfort. His discomfort turned into his passion. While filming the documentary, “Signs of Humanity,” Willie met a homeless man named Eddie Dunn. That encounter has created a forever transformative friendship. Willie and Eddie will share how the “WE ARE ALL HOMELESS,” a heART project, changed their lives!
Have you ever wanted to repair an important relationship or make it better? So many times, minor disagreements, lack of communication, or misunderstandings, leave our relationships feeling too distant. They say that it takes two to make a relationship work. But what if the other person has no interest in improving the relationship or is ready to walk away. I will share how you can reconcile and seek forgiveness, even if it’s only within yourself, regardless of what the other person chooses to do.
They say that it is not just the fear of failure but the fear of achieving success that can cause us to self-sabotage. While over achievement has its great rewards, there is a dark side. Are you an over achiever? Certified Personal Coach (CPC) and Certified Executive Coach (CEC), Keren Eldad, will help us recognize and overcome “Success Guilt” and teach us how to find our net worth through our self-worth.

Vulnerability! What is it about being vulnerable that makes people feel exposed, embarrassed, humiliated, or rejected? Sometimes, it is easier to ignore a problem and remain comfortable in discontentment than to risk rejection. So, here is the deal… For any relationship to grow, we must risk vulnerability. How do we choose vulnerability over fear of rejection? If you have ever felt rejected after an attempt to heal or mend a broken relationship, then join me in the classroom as we discuss how to choose vulnerability over fear.
