Once again, it is time to Break Down The Walls of Religion with my friend Julie Mickler. This month, Julie and I return to our roots as we explore Catholicism with John Vitek. John is the president and chief executive officer of Saint Mary’s Press. We will discuss the dynamics of young Catholics choosing not to affiliate with the church.
I have asked many times, “What keeps us from experiencing another faith denomination at a Church, Gurudwara, Temple, or Mosque?” It can be Judgement, Fear, and ultimately, a wall! So, once again, it is time to Break Down The Walls of Religion with my friends Julie Mickler and Nora Bradbury-Haehl. This month we will embrace the reformed Jewish tradition and discuss our worship experience at Temple Israel of Brevard.
Once again, it is time to break down the walls of religion and experience a new way to worship. This month, we will highlight Hinduism and all it represents. My friends Julie Mickler, Nora Bradbury-Haehl and I will share what it is like to be welcomed by our new Hindu family.
It’s that time again to break down the walls of religion! I always look forward to when my girlfriends, Julie Mickler, Nora Bradbury-Haile and I, share a conversation about our passion for connecting with world religions and nourishing our spirit. Is there a difference between religion and spirituality?
Julie Mickler, Nora Bradbury- Haehl and I are committed to worship with other religious denominations. This month we will be highlighting the Sikh faith. Navtej "Nav" Khalsa, of the Sikh Society of Central Florida, welcomed us and our experience was so wonderful that we wanted to share it. It is time to break down the walls of religion and see that we are all one!
Many years ago “WWJD” bracelets were a part of our culture. Today, political correctness has grown to new levels. Author of “Politically Incorrect Jesus," Joe Battaglia, will contrast the intellectual dishonesty of political correctness and present Jesus as the model for embracing a counter-cultural faith. He will also share how to live boldly in a culture of unbelief.
The last time Julie Mickler and Nora Bradbury- Haehl were on the show, I made a commitment to worship at a Mosque with our Islamic brothers and sisters. Manar Elkhaldi welcomed us to the Islamic tradition and the experience was so wonderful, we wanted to share it. It is time to break down the walls of religion and see that we are all one!
Many people believe their religion is the only way to salvation. If fact, many wars, arguments and prejudices have been formed through the centuries. Let?s end the madness and arguments about the root of our faith? LOVE! I have asked Nora Bradbury-Haehl and my dear friend Julie Mickler to help me with this conversation as we discuss Interfaith Relations.
