Recently I received a text that stated, “How have you been with all this insanity?” My reply was, “I know who wins in the end of the story and I’m staying focused on the moment.” So much is happening in the world that sometimes it is difficult to stay focused on what we truly want. As we approach 2022, some will be getting the perfect gift and fantasizing about what they want for the New Year. But what are we willing to do to achieve that? I will share tips on staying in the moment and how to make sure the most important gift is your presence.
According to Sarah Peyton, author, Certified Trainer of Nonviolent Communication and neuroscience educator, many of us have painful experiences with others, or there may be things that happened to us that left us with difficult memories. We end up making unconscious contracts with ourselves. For example, we say, “I will never let myself be in that situation again,” or “I will never forgive myself for that.” These examples are contracts that often result in harmful behaviors, such as self-criticism, lack of trust, or procrastination. Sarah with teach us how to become aware of these contracts so we can go from self-sabotage to self-care.
I always look forward to the holidays for many reasons… One of those reasons is spending time with the very busy Kristi Nelson, the executive director of “A Network For Grateful Living.” It has been a while since she has been in The Classroom. Since the world seems so fearful and divided, it is important to focus on things that unite. Kristi and I will discuss the path to radical gratitude!
Little by little, Christianity has become more diluted. Fortunately for us, Lorraine Day, M.D. has been imparting her 30 plus years’ wisdom of scripture in The Classroom, combining that with what is happening in the world today! Dr. Day’s research gives us a starting point for learning more New Truths. She is back to poke us in the eyes and to help us see how and why Christianity has been paganized.

We have learned that some people are left brain and others are right brain… Logic vs Emotions! Neuroanatomist and author of My Stroke of Insight, Jill Bolte Taylor, PhD, chose to study the brain because she wanted to understand what made the brain function. Her passion came from wanting to discover why her mentally ill brother saw the world so differently. Dr. Taylor suffered a massive left-brain stroke, that led her to discover what it was like to instantly become a right brain thinker. She will share her journey and how we can discover Whole Brain Living.
Could there be an addiction gene? John Giordano knows firsthand what it is like to love someone with an addiction. Fear overcomes the senses as to how to best support the one who can no longer make good decisions for themselves. John dedicated his life to learning ways to end the cycle of addiction, holistically. John will share his journey and teach us how rehabilitation is a spirit, mind, and body solution.
You have heard me say many times that we are all students and we are all teachers. As a curious student, we can learn how to be and how not to be. Either way, the lessons are invaluable. So, what can we learn about building and mending our relationships? I asked my friend and Recall Healing expert, Michelle LaMasa-Dawson, PhD, to help us tap into the connection between our relationships and how they affect our heart, digestion, and more!
Have you ever asked any of the following questions of yourself? Who am I? What does my Creator want for me? How do I handle disappointments when things don’t work out my way? What do I want to accomplish before I die? How will I create the life I want? I will share how to dive deeper within you, so you can respond to those questions, take action, or better yet, take responsibility.
Former Mayor of Nevada City, CA, Reinette Senum, took a stand and resigned from her position. Even though she exposed truth, she was villainized. Villainization has not only created division in government, but I have seen division in our families, friends, country, and world. There are consequences for taking a stand and speaking truth. Reinette continues sharing truth in whatever path she takes. She will share the fallouts and benefits of being brave in today’s world. It’s time to BE BRAVE!
Margaret Paul, Ph.D. is a relationship expert, best-selling author, and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding® healing process. In June 2021, I attended Dr. Paul’s 8-week Inner Bonding course and it was phenomenal! It was so powerful that I wanted to invite her back. I wanted to say thank you for her work, have her guide us through the 6 steps of Inner Bonding® and help us reconnect with our inner child. It’s time to choose to heal past wounds.
So much is happening in the world that sometimes it is difficult to stay focused on what we truly want. In 2013, I watched a documentary featuring orthomolecular scientist, Andrew Saul, PhD, called Food Matters. Ever since, Dr. Saul has been a wonderful teacher in The Classroom. It was Dr. Saul who showed me how I could get off my asthma medications by using vitamin C. I am most grateful to him. This time, Dr. Saul is back for another reason… to share how we can unite through prayer.
Valentine’s Day is a day we acknowledge love to those we love. Telling your spouse how you feel should be an everyday occurrence. Is it getting harder to tell your spouse you love them? When I first met Emmy award winning producer Del Bigtree, he was receiving an award as producer of the documentary “Vaxxed, from Cover-up to Catastrophe.” Now, as host of The Highwire with Del Bigtree, he has completely revolutionized what truth in action looks like. Del has been instrumental in keeping us informed and protecting our freedoms and rights through the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN). Del is back to WAKE US UP and inspire us how to Be BRAVE and BE BOLD!
I have learned that everything has a purpose. But there are times that our perspective can cloud the way we view the craziness of our lives and this world. Ultimately, it requires us to look beyond ourselves, explore our beliefs, and trust in God’s plan. Jason Stephenson of Jason Stephenson Meditations is back to discuss how to get real with ourselves and dissect our limited beliefs.
We never know what investigative journalist Harry Vox of Vox News is going to say, when he is in the classroom. We are going to do something different… We are going to discover the fun side of Harry and then privately record all the things that keep Harry awake at night. Harry will update us on the advancement of the enemy and what we can do about it.
Stacia Glavas never dreamed that by befriending a young homeless mother, it would change Stacia’s life, and many others as well. Her experience became part of an awareness that there is a need for mothers who are on their own. As a result, Stacia founded New Life Mission, a four-phase residential family program that equips homeless mothers with the skills and knowledge to transform their families in a Christ-centered environment. Development director AnnMarie Britt, and Shannon, who graduated from the program, will share what the saying, “It Takes a Village,” really means.
Although we find ourselves in unbelievable circumstances, we are all waking up to New Truths. One of my favorite “Truthers” is award winning filmmaker, Mikki Willis. I have quoted Don Miguel Ruiz and his book, “The Four Agreements,” so many times I cannot count. Can you imagine growing up as the son of Don Miguel Ruiz? Last week, I received my second strike on YouTube. This means zero access to my channel for one more week. Although I felt set up by this platform, my appeal fell on deaf ears and did not matter. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. This experience certainly confirmed the importance of trusting in God. After reflection, guidance, and prayer, I will share some of the plans for the future of The Lillian McDermott Radio Show… The Classroom!
World renowned author and speaker David Icke has taken a stand on controversial topics. As a result, he has been banned from many social media platforms. Gladly, he keeps finding a way to share suppressed information. The last time David was in the classroom, we discussed his book, The Answer. He is back with not just answers, but to point out the illusion of freedom!
