My 89-year-old mother has been dealing with dementia for quite a while and my 92 year old father sleeps most of the day. I cherish the moments I have with them, but I know their health is rapidly declining. In June, my mother fell and fractured her pelvis. She was in excruciating pain and finding a facility that would fit her needs was stressful, but my sister was able to find a beautiful place for our mom. I am grateful to board certified geropsychologist Natali Edmonds, PsyD, founder of Dementia Careblazers who shares trustworthy information and support for people dealing with someone with dementia. Natali will share how to navigate nursing facilities, when our loved ones with dementia need that extra help.
